Am I a recruiter?
No. I will work with your in-house or contract recruiters to source talent. I will also open up my network for you to source from.
Do I coach recruiters?
Yes. I’ll help calibrate your recruiting team to source suitable candidates for your role and teach them to spot a great portfolio without getting bamboozled by shiny screens.
Will I participate in the interview process?
Yes. We’re in this together. My focus will largely be on providing feedback on your process and ensuring that you are attracting the right talent and that it is generating the right kind of signal.
How long will I be involved?
For at least 6 months. After that, I can remain an advisor to help you manage the design function.
Fractional Design Leadership
How many hours per week?
It depends. We will figure this out together based on your needs.
Will I become a full-time employee?
Probably not. My goal is to help you hire a full-time leader when your company is ready. If desired, I can stay on board as an advisor to the new leader.
Product, UX, UI Design & Research Work
Do I still do actual design?
Not nearly as much as I used to. I am mainly focused on leadership and advising at this stage of my career. I do take on occasional concept design projects, but those are the exception and not the rule.
